# Tent card printing questions

## Ordering

**What is the minimum order?**

100 cards per design.

**Can I order different designs in one order?**

Yes. Each design is a separate run of 100 or more, priced from the [price list](https://tent-cards.ca/pricing/). List them in the order message.

**Can each card have a different name or table number?**

Not in a single run: every card in a run is identical. For name tents, many people print a branded card and add names by hand or with labels. See [name tents](https://tent-cards.ca/uses/name-tents/).

**When do I pay?**

After you see the proof with the final total. Nothing is printed before you approve it.

**Do you print in French?**

We print any text you send. Bilingual cards are common: one language per face works well.

## The cards

**What are the cards made of?**

14pt coated card with a matte finish, printed in full colour. Matte cuts glare under restaurant lights, and a permanent marker writes on it cleanly.

**Are both sides printed?**

Both visible faces of the tent are printed in full colour. The inside of the tent stays blank.

**Are they waterproof?**

No. The coated card resists a quick wipe but is not laminated. On patios or wet bar tops, expect to replace cards more often.

**Do you sell acrylic holders?**

## Files and proofs

**What file format do you need?**

PDF, CMYK, 300 dpi, with 1/16″ bleed, laid out as the full flat sheet. Read [file setup](https://tent-cards.ca/guides/artwork-file-setup/).

**Why is one face upside down in the file?**

The top face folds back over the peak. Printed upside down on the flat sheet, it ends up the right way round on the table.

**Will the colours match my screen?**

Screens show RGB light; print uses CMYK ink. Bright greens, blues and oranges can look slightly duller on paper. We flag big shifts on the proof.

**Do you ship everywhere in Canada?**

**How long does it take?**

Printing takes 4 to 5 business days after proof approval, plus transit.
