# How to fold a tent card

Our cards arrive flat, already scored and slit. Each one folds into a standing tent in about five seconds, with no glue or tape.

## Four steps

## Step by step

- Fold the peak: Fold the card in half along the centre score, printed faces outside. Run a thumbnail along the fold.
- Fold the flaps in: Fold each short end inward along its score, so the flaps point toward each other under the tent.
- Lock the slits: Slide the slit in one flap into the slit in the other. The base locks into a triangle.
- Stand it up: Press the base flat on the table. The card stands on its own.

## Folding hundreds

- Fold in batches: Do step 1 for the whole stack, then step 2, then step 3. It is faster than finishing one card at a time.
- Use a bone folder: Or the back of a spoon. Sharp folds keep the tent upright.
- Fold only what you use: Flat cards store better. Fold a week's worth and keep the rest in the box.
