How sizes are named

Printers name tent cards by one visible face, width first. A "4 × 6" tent card has faces about 4″ wide and 6″ tall. The flat sheet is much longer because it holds both faces plus the base flaps.

Some shops name the card by the flat sheet instead, or by the folded footprint. When you compare prices, check which measurement each shop means.

Size questions

What is the standard tent card size?

The most common printed table tent is about 4 × 6″ per face, which is our 4 × 6.25″ card. Name tents and QR cards are often wider.

What size is a tent card in cm?

Our 4 × 6.25″ card is about 10.2 × 15.9 cm per face; the 5 × 5.5″ card is about 12.7 × 14 cm.

Can I make a tent card from letter paper?

Yes, by folding 8.5 × 11″ paper in half or thirds on a home printer. It works for a single meeting but is thinner and does not lock at the base like a printed, slit card.
